The RESEARCH CENTER OF BIOLOGICALLY INSPIRED ENGINEERING IN VASCULAR MEDICINE AND LONGEVITY (BELONG) has the objective of developing research activity in a combined scientific field, engineering and medical, that addresses issues related to:

• clinical and biological characterization of the polymeric constructs obtained using green processes underlying the onset of vascular diseases;

• biological evaluation in in-vitro models and in-vivo of bioactive compounds with a protective action in the context of vascular pathologies;

• experimental and clinical research activities in the field of vascular biology.
